This past Saturday I got to do one of my most favorite shoots – a newborn. A teeny, tiny precious little newborn girl who happens to be my friend’s daughter. You may remember her momma from HERE and her gorgeous maternity shoot at Sakonnet. Well, little Miss L decided to arrive a few weeks earlier than her due date so due to some other plans I already had, I had to wait until 13 days old to do the shoot. Normally, this would be right on the border of when they are no longer newborns and a lot of the shots won’t work. But L. did just great!!! She ate like a champ, slept like a champ and curled like a champ and we got some GORGEOUS shots of her. I also tried a few new shots as well that I immediately fell in love with.![]()
Although you can’t see it, I have to say that L.’s nursery is by far one of the coolest I have ever seen. Total African safari theme with gorgeous walls, a handpainted giraffe mural and beautiful bedding made by grandma. Since her momma is a friend of mine, I plan to reinvade her house for some more photos using more of the house as a backdrop. ![]()
