All grown up | Philadelphia Family Photography

I started photographing S. when he just was three months old.  He was my baby planner – photos at 3, 6, 9 and then 12 months.  Unfortunately we had to keep putting off the 12 month photos but now that he is 21 months we finally were able to get together.  I feel as though R & S have really become friends over the past year and a half and I look forward to every time I get to photograph their beautiful family.  I have captured some wonderful and amazing images in our sessions… This time we took it downtown to the Independence Hall area.  I could not believe how much S. had changed – from a baby to a boy.  And I feel SO lucky to have had the privilege to capture those moments for his family.

My how things have changed :)

Some fun and funky urban editing but it really appealed to me – doesn’t it look like a magazine ad? :)

Sunny Day in Crescent Park | Providence Family Photography

I ended my second whirlwind weekend in Rhode Island with the beautiful L. and her mom and dad in Crescent Park in the Riverside section.  It was a gorgeous sunny day and the backdrop of the Naragansett Bay / Providence river was stunning!!   L. was so great for the session, smiling and clapping and dancing and just SO happy! (I was fortunate to have three kids roughly the same age this weekend and I do think it is my favorite, next to newborns of course.)   I know I usually show color and black and white but I just looooved the colors that they wore and they popped so beautifully in the surroundings so you get all color this time :)   Mom and Dad it was great seeing you guys again and meeting L., hope the photos capture your little almost-one-year-old the way you wanted them to!

Japanese Gardens with D. | Providence Family Photography

I started my Sunday with a trip to the Japanese Gardens at Roger Williams Park.  It is a great place that I first went to with little miss A. a few weeks ago so I was glad to go back!  I met D. and her mom and dad for some shots and off we went to explore.  We went over a lot of bridges, climbed rocks, and sang a lot of songs. D. was great and such a treat to work with – not to mention she is just absolutely adorable! Check out the photo on the bench, she looks like a porcelain doll!! Mom, Dad and D, I hope you enjoy these last few weeks as a family of three. :)   Four is a blast once you get used to it!
