Mine on Monday | Rhode Island Photography

Stickers.  Stickers are SO much fun.  As any parent knows, there comes a period of time where stickers rule the house.  They appear everywhere – my kids enjoy putting them on their bodies and all over books.  Sometimes they make it onto the floor which is not so good as we usually only find them a few days later when they have become permanently adhered and we need to use a scraper.  But I digress.  Stickers are AWESOME for little kids.  Layne just discovered them and has a slight obsession with putting them on her elbows (probably because that is her newest body part she can say) and her belly under her shirt.  AND she discovered that in the back of Nolan’s books there are sometimes a few pages of stickers.  She has been sick recently and, like most great mommies (HA!), I have been letting her do pretty much anything she wants as long as she is happy.  The other day it was sneaking Nolan’s book out of his room and letting her go to town getting the stickers off of the pages and putting them on herself and then the book.  Just a few quiet minutes of pure happiness for my baby girl :)

Just don’t tell Nolan half of his stickers are missing.

Holiday 2010 Mini Sessions

It’s time!  Holiday mini sessions are here.  This is the perfect session for you if you want just a short and quick session for some holiday images.  I am offering two options this year – all digital, or all prints.  It is entirely up to you which one you choose!  While the session itself does not differ in terms of time or number of proofs, the packages are different in that each offers a different option, depending on what you are looking for.

The advantage of the prints option is that you have a set of holiday cards ready to go and a print credit to spend on anything else that you would like.

The advantage of the digital option is that you have all of the high-resolution digital negatives to use to make as many prints as you would like on your own (up to size 11×14) as well as some easy ready-made small gifts in a complimentary set of 3×3 accordion albums.

Please note that Mini Sessions are appropriate for families of up to four or five people only.

If you are interested in booking a session, please let me know as soon as possible!  I only plan on taking three or four sessions per day.

Fabulous | Rhode Island Family Photography

I met the absolutely adorable P family this past Sunday for some photos at Colt State park.  We were originally supposed to do the photos last week but Tropical Storm Slightly-Windy-Weather-Event Hurricane Earl disrupted our plans.  Ah well.  We still got to do the pictures and I am SO glad.  We had such fun – there was rock throwing, playing in the sand, jumping off of rocks, climbing on stone walls, playing in tall grasses – everything a kid loves to do and everything a photographer loves to catch.  :)   The kids did great as did mom and dad and mom really rocked the outfits out!  Perfectly coordinated shades of navy with splashes of pink.  Awesomeness.  And dad with the super cool navy converse – I have to say, usually I tell people not to wear sneakers to a session but when it’s stylish awesome sneakers, it really totally works.

I have had an impossible time narrowing down the proofs from this session.  Completely.  As a result you get a few extra sneak peek goodies to see!!  Enjoy!
