I Dare You | Rhode Island Family Photography

I dare you not to smile when you see these adorable kiddos – especially the baby.  I just double dog dare you!!!  Continuing my awesome Sunday was a stop down the street with this family for a quick holiday session.  (And I assure you mom, I have a few different shots of all three but didn’t want to share them on here since it’s holiday card time!)  Again, total strangers welcoming me in and making me feel completely at home.  Of course it could be the fact that I am a giant four year old so I get along really well with little kids.  Or the fact that Dad and I are both Steelers fans so it was already in their blood to like me.  ;)   Whatever it was, it was fabulous.  Another gorgeous family, more gorgeous kids and lots of laughter.  :)

I know I say it a lot.  But I really absolutely just adore my job.

Fall family fun | Rhode Island Family Photography

Last year the R. family met me for a holiday mini session at Roger Williams.  This time they did a full session and threw in a new beautiful little baby girl to boot.  (Not newborn, just new to me!)  They braved a brisk Saturday morning and invading college cross country runners who were using Colt State as their championship location.  (Who knew!?)  This meant that I had to compete for attention with the giant buses that kept driving past – do you know how much three year old boys like buses??  ;)   Luckily I think I held my own, the kids mostly held their own in the cold and mom and dad did great as usual.  It was so great seeing you guys again!  And remember – next year – August!!!

Sweet Baby C | Rhode Island Family Photographer

I met up Saturday morning with one of my nursery contest runners up.  When I offered a special session for them, T. jumped right on it which I was really excited about because, personally, I adored her nursery.  And it didn’t disappoint in person.  So well put together, so cute and so perfect for little C.  Pink and green and owls everywhere you looked.  The theme just carried through beautifully into even the tiniest details.  And C. was perfectly adorable.  Mom had told me ahead of time that they were used to her “serious” look.  Let me tell you, I got a LOT of serious :)   But can you blame her?  This stranger coming into your room and yard with a big old camera?  I’d be pretty darned suspicious as well!!  We started in the yard and then spent some time in her beautiful nursery.  I had such a good time with her, even if she didn’t find me nearly as funny as I think I am ;)
