When I arrived to do Logan’s newborn session I was hoping that at 8 days old he would be wonderfully sleepy. He had other ideas. Instead of sleeping for me, he had slept the night before for his mom and dad. Which, really, is totally fine. But it did make it a challenge. :) He was still perfectly adorable at 8 lbs with a full head of hair and big GORGEOUS eyes. Some of my favorite awake photos ever came during this session (like the one of him looking over mom’s shoulder – LOVE!) Of course we all know what an awake baby means – extra snuggling time for me!! :) I never ever mind that part of it. He was so calm and happy when he was awake and then eventually took two short naps which allowed me a few sleeping photos. I truly love what we got though and I’m beginning to love the awake photos even more!
