When I lived and worked in Philadelphia, I was lucky enough to meet and become very good friends with Bernadette of Bernadette Uzcategui Photography.  We did trades on photos and she was one of the people I could swap stories with that understood where I was coming from.  We had many discussions over cookies and coffee and drinks over the years!   If you’ve followed my blog for a while you’ve definitely seen her with her adorable little family on here a few times.  I miss her dearly now that we are in RI.  But this past weekend when I was in Philly, we reconnected for dinner.  She and her husband are now expecting baby number two, a little girl, in a little over a month and she looks absolutely adorable!!  When we were at dinner we discussed meeting the next morning for some maternity photos before I left town.  In driving around the area near my hotel I had discovered this beautiful park with fields and a few neat little features.  So early the next morning she and her family picked me up and off we went.  It was a quick shoot, probably only 30-45 minutes but it was perfect.   Shooting for a fellow photographer is nerve wracking.  But shooting for a friend who is a photographer is amazing because I know I can do whatever I’d like and have total creative control.  And she gets what I am trying to do.  🙂  She is such a beautiful person inside and out and there is so much love in this family…I can only hope that it shines through here in this quick group of photos.On-location maternity photography with sibling.
