My style combines traditional family photography with happy, emotion-filled, in-the-moment images of families both in their homes and outdoors. My love of capturing families in their surroundings shines through in my work which features a mix of traditional portrait images as well as more natural, lifestyle photographs. You are just as likely to see the delighted smiles of a child being tickled by their parents in their living room as you are a family grouped on one of our beautiful beaches. Clients love the personal, boutique feel of a session with me and the fresh approach I bring to family photography. Instead of a studio staging with props and backdrops, parents can have images of their family taken in natural outdoor surroundings, or in the beautiful home they have created.
My goal is to provide you with gorgeous, one-of-a-kind images of your family. After over seventeen I just feel like years of photographing children and families, I have developed a unique ability to relate to all ages of clients and to become an intimate part of their lives, capturing moments that others might miss during our time together. I know just how very quickly children change and grow up, and I pride myself on being able to give clients beautiful images that capture all of the details, big and small, of that oh-so-fleeting period of time in their family.

Family sessions traditionally are done on Saturdays and Sundays although weekday sessions are often available. All sessions are done in the comfort of your home or a location that we will choose together. Once we start, my family sessions typically last one to two hours and you will receive a sneak peek on either my Facebook Page or blog that very same day.
