Life. Laughter. Love. Emotion. Family.

For my entire sixteen years of business these have been my keywords, my tagline if you will.  They appeared in my original logo and they still appear at the end of all my client videos. I have tried to quit them, because I honestly don’t know that anyone even uses taglines anymore, but I just can’t.  I think it is because at the end of the day, they are the most important elements that I could capture in each portrait I take. I’m not going to lie – it’s probably also because they happen to be a perfect description of me and my approach to just about everything.  I’m a wife of 19 years and a mom to three – including two teens, one of whom is going to college in 2024.  So each of those words?  Yeah my home is full of them.

The Amy Ro side of me?  I am a seeker of those moments full of emotion and love.  For the newborn sessions I yearn for those instances whether you can’t stop staring at this amazing person you made, or laughing because they pooped in the diaper you just changed.  For the toddler moments with the tickles and the giggles and flying in the air.  For the older kids with the belly laughs, the quiet touches and snuggles.  The book reading.  The raspberry blowing.  The running in the sand.  The quiet moments and the loud. THIS is what makes my heart sing and what I love photographing most in the world.

I absolutely adore what I do.  It’s my passion and my creative outlet.  I am a little bit obsessive about my art and pour every ounce of my perfectionism into shooting, editing, and producing a unique collection of beautiful images that tell the story of families utterly in love with one another.  I live for these moments between you and your family and nothing in the world is a better feeling than having my clients ADORE their images.
