Victoria – 6 Days | Rhode Island Newborn Photography
I am honestly not sure I have the words to write this post. Seeing this family welcome their first little girl after four boys – amazing. Seeing the boys react to her, always wanting to see her, touch her, love her – awesome. Seeing a dad with his first little girl after four awesome boys – so incredibly touching. Seeing four generations of women together in one photo – tear-inducing. We had it all when we did these shoots, spread out over two sessions and just over a week apart. I could NOT be more thrilled for them than I am. I think I’ll just step back and let some of my favorite photos tell the story this time.
🙂
Kristin and Alex | Rhode Island Maternity Photography
Oh my goodness have I had some beautiful moms to be come to me. Kristin?? No exception. Absolutely stunning. We had been planning and chatting for a few weeks about their session and we knew that this one evening was our only shot at a session before Alex would be on the road with the Red Sox and Kristin would possibly be heading back home to have the baby. Although it was dark and raining an hour before the session started, it stopped just before we got to our location. We were left with an incredibly hot and muggy and mosquito-filled shoot, but wow did they ever handle it with incredible grace!! They even braved the three foot long thick black snake that was lurking near our location (Okay, fine, it was me who braved it, they were fine. I was completely freaked out once I realized it was there.) Kristin killed it with the outfits, a stunning strapless floral dress and then an adorable outfit in, of course, Red Sox colors. (Yes, Alex looked good too but this was Kristin’s starring day 😉 )
I cannot express how much I love how this session turned out and how thrilled I am that we were able to get it in. So instead I will show it with extra photos.
Owen – 6 Days | Rhode Island Newborn photography
I had the privilege of shooting Baby Owen’s session earlier this week when he was only 6 days old. I was really dying to do a much more lifestyle slant to the images so I left the beanbag at home. And I love love what we got. They had the *perfect* yard for some gorgeous outdoor images, dad even hung the swing up so we could use it – I bet he’ll be happy he did! We also did some images in the amazing nautical-themed nursery that they put together – so so cute! I know they were excited to see the photos so I won’t write too much mure. BUT before I go I must take a moment and say how big brother was perhaps the BEST two year old I have ever ever worked with. He was amazing. He did such a good job listening and being a loving big brother!! I could have worked with him all day long.
Thank you thank you thank you A family for letting me come into your lives and your home for a few hours to capture these moments 🙂
Grace – 17 Days | Rhode Island Newborn Photographer
I was so excited to meet sweet Grace last week! I did her big brother’s newborn session about 20 months ago so it was such a treat to go back and meet his new little sister. She was just perfect, even if we did have to wait an extra week and do the session at 17 days old. <3 She is clearly a very loved little girl…
