I’ve decided that after two months out of work and post-holiday blahness, we should have our first fan favorite photo contest (My friend Christie totally inspired me).  🙂

At the end of every year I look back over what I have done and feel so lucky and humbled to have met all of the families and babies that I’ve worked with.  This past year with stopping 6 weeks early I ended up right around 60 sessions, so that ended up being around 2500 images to choose from.  Although it was not easy (2500+ images!!!) I chose the top 25 that stood out to me.  And they did so for many different reasons – some are because of the emotion, others because I got to do something I’d never done, or the light was divine or any of a million other reasons.  (And thank goodness for being able to automatically remove a few sessions due to them being friends because that would have been near impossible to narrow down!!) So, your job is clear.  Select which of the following photos is YOUR favorite.  I’ve already narrowed them down to mine.  Your turn!

**There are going to be TWO ROUNDS of voting.  The first will end on Thursday the 11th.  After that, I will select the Top 10 vote-getters to move onto the final vote next week!**

There will be TWO winners for this contest!

(1) The client whose image has the most votes will receive a complimentary 11 x 14 canvas or gallery mount of either the image from this contest or an image of their choice from an upcoming 2013 session they have with me.  Scroll down to cast your vote AFTER the last image.

(2) The 2nd place winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to put towards a session with me in 2013.

Voting will begin NOW and end on January 10th at 11:59pm EST. IP addresses will be monitored – only 1 vote per person Results will not be visible on the poll and I will announce the Top 10 finalists on January 11th

Voting for the Top 10 will begin on the 11th and end on the 18th, with winners announced on January 19th!

Just a few quick updates for clients now that we have reached glorious summer days!

First, I will be on vacation from July 1 – July 15.  All orders will be sent out before that time.  Other orders will either be shipped directly to clients from the lab or will be delivered after I return.  I will be out of state so I will not be able to work on orders or galleries during that time period.

Weekday sessions are now only being offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  This means if you have a newborn coming up and were thinking about booking a session, do not wait because they will only be shot on those days!!

Weekend sessions are still only held on Saturdays and are reserved for family sessions only.  Again, newborn sessions are only being accepted on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Family sessions will be held starting in the morning at 8 am and in the evening starting no earlier than 6:00.

Regular scheduling should resume in September.  🙂
