Although I had photographed mom before for head shots a few times,  I had never had the pleasure of photographing the entire S. family.  Mom is always super stylish and put -together and the rest of the family did not disappoint (not that I ever thought they would!)  Three little girls all in sparkles and ruffles and everything girly.  My daughter to this day (two plus months later) loves to look at their photos because she loves their sparkle.  😉   Dad had no sparkles on, but we can forgive him for that.  The girls did great and we were able to capture some adorable images.  I definitely have some favorites from this session.  🙂

The P family and I met for our third year of photos in a row back in October. I cannot believe how big the kids have gotten and yet how it doesn’t feel like it had been a year since I had seen them.  The kids were adorable running around in the side yard and I love seeing their personalities in these photos.  I am always strictly forbidden to share images until after the cards have gone out so I am pretty sure now being January 3 that I am safe!  😉

I first met the P family last year when we did some photos down at the lighthouse in Jamestown.  This year we met at their beautiful new house for just some quick shots of miss M. and her big four-pawed brother, Ollie (and a very few family shots).  Although the weather was not ideal, the rain did hold off a bit to allow us to get outside for photos.  I cannot believe how big M. has gotten  – she is so much more big girl than little now.  And Ollie?  Well he’s pretty much the same.  😉  I had such a great time visiting with them – I think I stayed and talked for at least 45 minutes after we were done with M and her mom!  M. sang songs for us, got married to a prince, danced like a ballerina and showed off some of her gymnastics moves – all AFTER I had put the camera away.  All in all, a great Sunday morning!

This last shot was on a total whim.  I was packed up and walking to the door when I glanced to my right and saw this.  I just HAD to drop my bag, get out the camera again and snap a shot.  Mr. Ollie looks *so* regal in this photo.  I just LOVE it!  🙂
