Fall Mini Sessions!

 It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!  (Early!)

 Yep.  It’s that time of year already.  Time to start thinking jeans, tall boots, sweaters and scarves because Fall Mini Sessions are booking NOW!  As with previous years I am doing two sets of fall photography mini sessions this year – BUT I am doing two days in an urban location and two days in a field location so there is even more choice in your dates.  So choose what look you want:

bricks, buildings and bridges?

or

birds, bushes and babbling brooks?  

As always, mini sessions are, well, MINI.  You’re looking at 20-25 minutes of shooting time – perfect for those kids (and husbands!) not really into photos but willing to behave for a small amount of time.  They are not appropriate for newborns and while babies under six months of age are welcome, realize that unless they’re sitting on their own, some part of your body will also be in the photo since you will likely be holding them.  As with last year, I am only offering one package but that makes choosing super easy.  You get:

12-15 high-resolution digital files ready to print (make 1000 4 x 6 prints!)

One 11 x 14 print to hang on your walls
Custom Mobile App for your phone with all images from your gallery (New this year!)

Urban sessions will be held Saturday and Sunday September 26 and 27, with a rain date of Saturday and Sunday October 10 and 11.

Field sessions will be held Saturday and Sunday October 3 and 4 with a rain date of Saturday and Sunday October 17 and 18.

Gorgeous 13 day old new baby sister

About a week and a half ago I headed up into Massachusetts to photograph thirteen day old new baby sister Marin.  This was not my first newborn with them.  I also did big brother Jack’s session two years ago.  It’s one thing I absolutely LOVE about my job!  Not only being asked to come and photograph families, but being invited back in to document them over time.  I simply adore watching my families grow and feel to honored to be asked to continue to photograph them.  <3  Just like the last time, we did the session in their beautiful home which dad has worked hard over time to renovate since he’s an architect. Gorgeous Massachusetts Family Session

I headed up to Shrewsbury last week to do a family session for one of my favorite clients.  I have known Corrie for a few years now, having done their newborn session for their first daughter a few years ago.  (The only reason I didn’t do their second daughter was because she was born only three short weeks after my own second daughter!)  We’ve done several sessions together since then, but this trip up was my first time meeting their youngest.  She was SO stinking cute with her new little teeth!!  We headed over to the Ward House to do the photos and it was such a fun choice!  Gorgeous light, beautiful simple buildings and an open space for the kids to run around when they weren’t taking photos.  We also lucked out with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Spring day!  We got some adorable, beautiful pictures of everyone involved to add to the Amy Ro wall that Corrie has in their living room. 😉  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  Enjoy!  🙂

Party of five holiday style

Beautiful Fall Family

So now that the holidays are (long) over, and the cards and gifts have all been delivered I can share the images from some holiday sessions guilt and worry free 😉  I hadn’t seen this family in a little over two years – mom was pregnant during their last session with me!  It was so great to see them again.  The colors were amazing, the family was gorgeous, it was a great, great morning!
