My gorgeous little girl from this afternoon… More in a few days!
My gorgeous little girl from this afternoon… More in a few days!
So what a whirlwind week!! Wow. I won’t get into it all on here but it has been FULL of ups and downs. To give you an idea, I thought that my iMac had died this morning (it didn’t fortunately, something about a software patch). It is that kind of week. You may have noticed a lack of posts on here 🙂
So back to the real world. And time to share photos of the ADORABLE and handsome baby E. from this past weekend. Mom found my ad in the Baby Guide that she received from the hospital and fortunately I had time to get there when E. was 12 days old. He was about as perfect as perfect can be and I loved the fauxhawk hair. 😉 He slept like a dream and was just so so cute (and had an amazing nursery to boot!). And mom and dad were so kind and so sweet and accommodating. As a bonus, dad is a huge sports fan so we got to talk sports for a little while during a feeding break and even managed to work his very cool John Elway photographed football helmet into a photo. I love being able to use something special and unique in photos! We had a great few hours together, got a bunch of different variety and I continued on my quest to break away from all beanbag shots and back to what I started with. So enjoy little baby E, I know I had a great time with him!
From this afternoon 🙂 More to come later this week!
So I can’t help it. I keep coming back to baby C. And I want to share more and more with you. It just happens that my last two shoots I have been overwhelmed with the photos I have come away with and want all of you to see ALL of them!!! So today, more pictures of baby C. and tomorrow some more of Calvin 🙂 And now, I’m going to stop talking and just show you the photos!
As I mentioned before I went back photograph gorgeous baby C. in her house last week. I have found myself doing more and more beanbag work with newborns and less lifestyle work and I really regret that. When I walked into A. and J.’s house I knew immediately that I wanted to use some of it for the shots. Their decorating taste is just absolutely perfect. They have mixed Ikea, salvaged recovered pieces, art, Etsy and classic furniture all together in such a wonderful and classic style. And I absolutely fell in LOVE with the nursery from the moment I opened her entry into my contest. 🙂 It was (is) so classic and minimalist and just serene and beautiful. So when I went back last week for a second shoot, I had very specific images in mind that I wanted to get. Here are the first two, more to come later this week since I’m out of town and scheduling ahead! 🙂
