Gorgeous ten day old newborn

I headed out to Providence about two weeks ago to photograph the gorgeous ten day old newborn miss Iris.  I actually did big brother’s newborn session a little over two years earlier as well.  It was beyond special to get to go back and photograph the new family of four!  We got some absolutely precious images of big brother with Iris – some of my favorites ever in any session.  <3  And Iris herself was just adorable. Though at only 10 days old she did fight me on sleeping for a while, she eventually gave some beautiful sleeping images as well.  We also did some images with mom and dad that simply took my breath away seeing them on the LCD and then the computer.  Here are a few of my favorites from our session together.

Party of five holiday style

Beautiful East Side Fall Family Session

This beautiful fall family session was shot on the east side of Providence a few weeks ago for one of my favorite clients.  🙂  We did the session right in their backyard which was pretty much perfection.  We lucked out and had a beautiful day and the temps combined with the late day sun filtering through the trees surrounding their yard made for some absolutely gorgeous images.   She has been waiting long enough for her sneak peek and while I could go on and on about how much I adore them, instead I’ll just let the image speak for themselves.  Here are a few favorites from our session together – enjoy!

Lifestyle Newborn Session

Lifestyle newborn sessions are among my absolute favorite kind of session to shoot.  I love the beanbag and blankets and hats.  But I simply adore photographing a family in the home that they have brought their new baby to.  To capture those moments in their life – that is the absolute best.  So when Jeni contacted me to come and do a lifestyle newborn session for their newest little girl, I didn’t hesitate to say yes.  (Not that I would have anyways – Jeni and family are pretty awesome.)  Four years ago, I did big sister’s newborn session so it was wonderful to come back and see how they had grown into a beautiful family of four. <3  Big sister absolutely adores her little sister which you can see in one of my favorite sibling images EVER below.  Seeing this family all together made my heart so very, very happy. Family Session at Moses Brown

Three years ago I shot a family session for Lynn and her boys on the campus of Moses Brown School in downtown Providence.  We got some beautiful shots with amazing color and one shot during that session of her and her boys is still, to this day, featured on my website 🙂  This time around we included dad in the family session since he had been unable to make it last time.  Once again, we met on the campus of Moses Brown since the colors and backdrops were so gorgeous last time.  And we were not disappointed 🙂  Combined with some late day sun, the campus was simply bathed in beautiful golden light and the family was as awesome as ever.  It was so nice to see how the boys had grown and changed over three years (and how mom hadn’t)!  Although working with tweens / teens is definitely outside of my norm, I definitely had a great time with these guys!  Here are a few favorites from our session – enjoy!
