Lifestyle Newborn Session

Lifestyle newborn sessions are among my absolute favorite kind of session to shoot. I love the beanbag and blankets and hats. But I simply adore photographing a family in the home that they have brought their new baby to. To capture those moments in their life – that is the absolute best. So when Jeni contacted me to come and do a lifestyle newborn session for their newest little girl, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. (Not that I would have anyways – Jeni and family are pretty awesome.) Four years ago, I did big sister’s newborn session so it was wonderful to come back and see how they had grown into a beautiful family of four. <3 Big sister absolutely adores her little sister which you can see in one of my favorite sibling images EVER below. Seeing this family all together made my heart so very, very happy. Here are a few favorites from our session together – enjoy!

Family Session at Moses Brown

Three years ago I shot a family session for Lynn and her boys on the campus of Moses Brown School in downtown Providence. We got some beautiful shots with amazing color and one shot during that session of her and her boys is still, to this day, featured on my website 🙂 This time around we included dad in the family session since he had been unable to make it last time. Once again, we met on the campus of Moses Brown since the colors and backdrops were so gorgeous last time. And we were not disappointed 🙂 Combined with some late day sun, the campus was simply bathed in beautiful golden light and the family was as awesome as ever. It was so nice to see how the boys had grown and changed over three years (and how mom hadn’t)! Although working with tweens / teens is definitely outside of my norm, I definitely had a great time with these guys! Here are a few favorites from our session – enjoy!

Beautiful Family of Four in Providence

This beautiful family of four came to visit me for my last day of urban mini sessions in downtown Providence a few weeks ago. I first did their photos last year and it was so wonderful to see how their family had grown from three to four!!! Big sister was, as always, a complete bundle of energy and full of so many different fun emotions. The first image below is one of my favorites from the entire session – how can you look at that and not smile??? I love getting photos of those faces that kids make during our sessions together – it’s just so them. (I actually have one of her silly faces from last year printed and displayed in my office!) And new baby brother – how precious was he? Loved that he was in a sweater that his grandmother made for him. With those giant blue eyes – so so adorable. And mom and dad – stunning as always. As you can see with that family image, these guys are just naturals!! Here are a few sneak peeks from our session together – enjoy!
