Sachuest Beach Maternity Photography Session

I met the Q family at their home in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. They had one bed in their home decorated simply with touches of holiday decor. It made a perfect backdrop for family and sibling portraits. When I arrive to a family’s home I spend a little bit of time looking at the best areas in your home for portrait-taking. I look for the best light, best seating and backdrop options within your home. You might have a room with a bed but the lighting isn’t optimal so I’ll choose a room with more light and less distractions.

During the sibling portion of the session one of their toddlers had a bit of an emotional moment and stuck his head between two pillows on their bed. You’ll see him in the back of one of Caroline’s photos on the bed. Such a funny and precious moment I know they will want to remember forever.

Caroline’s solo portraits turned out so beautiful. We added some pops of pink for their last baby girl. It’s such a wonderful feeling to capture so many milestones for one family over the years. I’m truly thankful for my amazing, loyal clients!
