Storyteller Sessions

I firmly believe in all of the in-between moments in our lives, not just the everyone-looking-at-the-camera ones. If you have had a session with me, you have seen this in your galleries. Storyteller sessions are what it sounds like – the beautiful, unique, perfect story of your family. We still do the session at a location of your choosing, but those moments?? Those snuggles, those giggles, those tosses in the air, or the tickles, or the quiet curled up moments, or the jumping on the bed…those perfect natural organic images of your family at this moment in your lives…you deserve to have all of that to look back on and help you remember.

There are several differences with storyteller sessions – the first being that each and every session includes an album. An amazing, beautiful, tangible heirloom quality keepsake for you and your family to look through. Second, the number of images included is much higher – 60-70 minimum instead of 30-35. The last big difference is that all session options are all-in-one packages, each one containing the session, digital files, and an album.

Some packages also include my own personal love and a very special item, a custom created film from our session together. As I have watched my own children grow and change over the past 13 years of being a mom, some of my most treasured moments are in video. More than just a photo, seeing them interacting, hearing their voices, those are what I hold close. And I have worked with clients (some of you over nine years now!) and I have watched your children grow, I have found myself wanting to provide you all with something more than just images of them as well. As a result, I have been slowly incorporating more and more video into my photography sessions and creating custom films for clients containing not only still images, but video and sometimes sound clips of these amazing moments in their lives.

ALBUMS

Every storyteller session includes an album showcasing images from our session together. Stunning and durable, these albums are the perfect heirloom item.

Albums come in either 8×8, 10×10, or 12,×12 inch sizes depending on your package choice.

stunning layouts

Albums are designed in a gorgeous lay-flat style. The pages are thick and offer a perfect backdrop for images both large and small. All designs are a collaboration between client and photographer.

cover choices

Cover choices are customizable, from beautiful luxurious velvets, to soft leathers, to suedes, or even the traditional linen. You can personalize your cover with a cameo image, or design.

All collections include the session retainer, high-resolution digital files, and an album. The top two collections also include a custom fusion video combining both still and video clips from our session together. See below for specific details for each individual collection.
