In one of the many collisions of worlds we have here in little RI, Kayleigh’s mommy knew me both from people she went to high school with AND her college neighbor (neither of which knew the other!). Both had used me for sessions so when she got pregnant she knew she wanted a session as well! We’ve been planning this since about her twelfth week of pregnancy so I hope I lived up to her expectations. 🙂 Kayleigh was absolutely beautiful (check out those lips!) and a fabulous sleeper after giving us some nice alert and awake family time for the beginning of the shoot. I think my favorite? I love the shot of her touching noses with her mom, and can you get over that cute little grin??

Francesca | Rhode Island Newborn Photography
When I did this family’s first newborn session 19 months ago, I fell in love with them (and their bedroom). They were so sweet and so loving and funny and laid back – I knew they would be amazing parents. 
And now nineteen months later they have welcomed their second beautiful daughter, Francesca. I loved seeing the family that they have become, and of course seeing big sister as a big sister just made my heart do all sorts of pitter-patters. (Also, when she climbed into my lap for me to read her a book ::melt::!!!) I had such a great time, once again, shooting this session. We did photos outside, inside, in her gorgeous nursery, in the master, it was great!! Francesca was a fabulous sleeper and we got some absolutely precious images. 
Beautiful Girls | Rhode Island Family Photography
I am actually playing catch up on here this week because this session happened a few weeks ago!! This was one of the first families to take advantage of my Little Ro session – the mini version of my session that I offer returning clients. We spent a great morning in their backyard a few weekends ago getting some updated photos of the girls. (Unfortunately dad wasn’t feeling too hot that day so the family photos are coming a bit later this month.) I had not seen the girls in over a year and I couldn’t believe how much bigger they were! Oh, they grow so quickly…they are getting so big and so gorgeous. Sigh. Here is a year ago:

Little D | Rhode Island Family Photography
So I’m playing catch up again today!! Way back in March or so I went out to take photos of little D and his family. He was a bit under the weather so a few weeks ago I went out to do some new shots. He was feeling MUCH better and full of spunk and energy 🙂 I adore this family and the fact that they have a gorgeous yard on the water with really cool pieces of art and things in it doesn’t hurt either. 😉
