Gorgeous 13 day old new baby sister

About a week and a half ago I headed up into Massachusetts to photograph thirteen day old new baby sister Marin.  This was not my first newborn with them.  I also did big brother Jack’s session two years ago.  It’s one thing I absolutely LOVE about my job!  Not only being asked to come and photograph families, but being invited back in to document them over time.  I simply adore watching my families grow and feel to honored to be asked to continue to photograph them.  <3  Just like the last time, we did the session in their beautiful home which dad has worked hard over time to renovate since he’s an architect. Nine day old newborn beauty

Last week I headed down to Pawtucket to photograph Ava, a nine day old newborn beauty.    As was evidenced by the signs on the door (which, on a side note, made it SUPER easy to find their house!) she is clearly a very loved baby girl.  Mom and dad were totally awesome as well.  (Not only because dad went to Syracuse like me but just in general.) We got some beautiful images of just Ava, images with each of them individually, and images of all three as a family that just made my heart melt.   One of my favorite parts of my job is seeing new families.  Obviously couples are families.  But when you add in that new tiny person – seeing that dynamic??  Awesome.  And Ava and her mom and dad were a perfect, loving example of that.  Here are a few of my favorite images from our in-home  session together.  Enjoy!  🙂

Gorgeous Massachusetts Family Session

I headed up to Shrewsbury last week to do a family session for one of my favorite clients.  I have known Corrie for a few years now, having done their newborn session for their first daughter a few years ago.  (The only reason I didn’t do their second daughter was because she was born only three short weeks after my own second daughter!)  We’ve done several sessions together since then, but this trip up was my first time meeting their youngest.  She was SO stinking cute with her new little teeth!!  We headed over to the Ward House to do the photos and it was such a fun choice!  Gorgeous light, beautiful simple buildings and an open space for the kids to run around when they weren’t taking photos.  We also lucked out with an absolutely BEAUTIFUL Spring day!  We got some adorable, beautiful pictures of everyone involved to add to the Amy Ro wall that Corrie has in their living room. 😉  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  Enjoy!  🙂

Handsome newborn baby boy

Last week I headed up to Massachusetts to photograph handsome newborn boy Mason at just two weeks of age.  He was such a beautiful baby with a head of great dark hair and perfect skin.  All of which I got to photograph in the best place ever – his home!   I absolutely LOVE that I don’t shoot studio sessions but instead travel to people’s homes.  The homes that they have created and brought their babies home to.  Otherwise I would have missed those last two shots of them in their son’s beautiful nursery, and I would never have been able to get Sadie, their four year old golden retriever into the pictures.  We did some more traditional baby only shots on a beanbag of course but I have to say, as gorgeous as those shots are, the images with his mom and dad – those are what make my heart happy.  And hopefully I’ve made their hearts happy, too.   Here are a few favorites from our session together – enjoy!

Party of five holiday style
